Family fun in Billings St. Paddy’s Day weekend

This weekend preview for March 17-19, 2017 is sponsored by RiverStone Health

This weekend’s fun for the family is most certainly tinged in shades of green as the St. Paddy’s Day celebrations go beyond just Friday, March 17 – the actual St. Patrick’s Day. But before we introduce you to this weekend’s family fun picks, first we point you towards our pick for March’s Wacky Holiday: Incredible Kid Day. Make it count.

March’s Wacky Holiday Pick
Incredible Kid Day
Thursday, March 16

It’s been 20 years since this holiday was created by Campfire USA as a way to show kids they are loved and cared for, shares Holiday Insights. As parents, don’t we love to brag on our kids? I know mine sure did (…still do) and I know I sure do. So how might we go out of our way on this most spectacular day to show the little (and maybe not so little anymore) loves of our lives that they are incredible indeed? Perhaps you can write a letter to your child that day, as was originally suggested. Me? I think I’m going to paper her bedroom door with hearts listing some of the incredible, fabulous things that I love most. Maybe do a surprise snagging from school for lunch out, have flowers or balloons with a note delivered…It doesn’t really matter what or how, just do.

Share your celebrations with us on social media using the hashtag, #SFMmyincrediblekid.
