The rodeo action gets bucking at 7pm each night in the MetraPark Grandstands. If you’re planning to brave the heat and ride the rides, then you’ll want to take advantage of the discounted afternoon ride wristbands available from 12-5pm. (Don’t forget the sunscreen and water)!
This Friday, August 14 Billings Depot is holding one of the premier date nights of the summer with Taste of Billings-Summer at 4-10pm. This is for the 21 and older crowd and the evening comes complete with tastes of food created by Billings’ best culinary minds, along with award-winning craft brews, wine, and live music. Tickets are $45 for general admission, $65 for VIP Early Access. Get your tickets online or at Uberbrew. If you’re looking for family fun this Friday, then you won’t want to miss the second to last Movies in the Park, showing Paddington, rated PG at Veterans Park. Admission is free. Concessions will be available with a portion of the sales benefitting the Special K Ranch. Bring your blanket for a movie under the stars! And if you’re looking to snag a great deal on Ray Ban frames and lenses (40% off!), Vision Optical is holding a Ray Ban Trunk Show from 9am-7pm, with wine and hors d’oeuvres from 5-7pm.
Saturday, August 15 you can start off your day at the Farmers’ Market from 8am-12pm in Downtown Billings, following that up with Family Archaeology Day at Pictograph Cave State Park, 11am-1pm. Experience the technology and recreation of the past through hands-on activities!
And don’t forget to mark those calendars because it’s Family Fun Night at Alive After 5 on Thursday, August 20 at South Park, 5-8pm. Live music, children’s activities, and a handful of Billings’ best food trucks to complete the night.
