Bring out the whole family to check out this hit musical celebration of the nerd in all of us. With music and lyrics by William Finn, book by Rachel Sheinkin, conceived by Rebecca Feldman, additional material by Jay Reiss, and directed by Billings favorite Wendy Carlin.
This musical tells the tale of six kids (played by young adults) who are competing for the coveted spelling bee championship. The songs are touted as being clever and witty that range from frantically fun to heartbreakingly beautiful. With characters that are quirky, nerdy, and flawed, yet lovable, Director Wendy Carlin, says that “the audience will be able to find a character they can relate to. I have a stellar cast who are all great singers and actors.”
